Guidelines for Faculty Peer Evaluation (PDF)
The guidelines are to be used for completing a faculty peer-review evaluation. This form is to be used by the peer evaluator as she/he is invited into class to observe a faculty member's teaching. A peer is defined as another faculty member either inside or outside the discipline. The faculty member chooses the peer evaluator.

Guidelines for Faculty Self-Appraisal Narrative (Word)
Guidelines for Faculty Self-Appraisal Narrative (PDF)
The guidelines are intended to assist the faculty member in developing and maintaining a yearly self-appraisal of her/his efforts at Carlow. These guidelines take into account that a faculty member's areas of effort may vary across time based on the faculty member's interests and the needs/demands of the college. The format is designed to capture all of the pertinent areas of academic life, but it also allows flexibility in the degree to which each area is explored.

The survey is designed to give each student the opportunity to offer comments about the course and the instructor. The faculty use the students' responses to revise and improve their courses.
